Functional Statements:

  1. To receive and transcribe all registrable documents affecting the civil status of a person.
  2. To transmit to the Civil Registrar General all duplicate copies of civil registry documents.
  3. To coordinate with the National Statistics Office in conducting educational campaign for vital registration and assisting the demographic and other statistics.
  4. To issue certified copies of registry documents upon request of any person and upon payment of corresponding fee.
